Kotula Drake, November 19th, 1987-June 25th 2017

It is with broken hearts that Janet, Cameron, and David (Tanya) announce the passing of their brave and deeply loved son and brother, who lost his valiant battle to the disease of addiction. He will be deeply missed by his partner and love Leanne Church.

Drake grew up in West Vancouver, attending Collingwood School, playing rep hockey for Hollyburn Country Club and soccer and baseball in West Vancouver throughout his high school years. He went on to attend McGill University in Montreal.

A funeral to remember Drake will be held at West Vancouver United Church, 2062 Esquimalt Ave., West Vancouver, on Thursday, July 6th, 2017, at 1:30pm. Reception afterwards in church hall. All who loved Drake are welcome.

Our family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Together We Can Addiction, Recovery, and Education Centre, where Drake also worked, who never turned their backs on Drake, time and time again, in his struggles. Thank you Stacey and Jordan.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be set up at Together We Can in Drake's memory to help others fight this terrible disease. Any contributions will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
