Funeral Service Checklist

How we Help You Plan for the Funeral/Celebration:
The service is an important step toward healing hearts and beginning the process of mending the rip in social fabric that exists after someone dies. Our family has had over seven decades of experience with planning and arranging services. We will be there to answer all of your questions and concerns.
The following is an overview of the many aspects of service planning you will discuss when meeting with our Funeral Directors.
A Checklist of Questions our Funeral Directors will Discuss:
-
Has there been any thought if your loved one will be Cremated or Buried?
-
Have you given any thought of a Funeral, Gathering, or Celebration of Life? Our directors can show you many service options we provide.
-
Where should the Service be Held? The service can be held at your favourite venue, your church or religious venue, your home, or even outside at a local park (weather dependent).
-
What day of the Week should the Service be Held? Typically funeral services are held on the weekend as it provides the best opportunity for everyone to make it.
-
Who will Lead or Officiate the Service? This can be your best friend, a family member, a celebrant, or a religious leader.
-
Instead of a Funeral or Service would you like a Small Gathering of Visitation? If you wish not to have a large service, maybe a small gathering would be better.
-
If Cremation was your Choice, have you decided on an Urn? We will show you a wide selection of Urns to choose from.
-
What type of Music would you like to be played at the Service?
-
Will there be a Sharing Time where People can get up and Share Stories?
What Comes Next?
Once all of the main decisions have been arranged with your family and our Funeral Director, you can now relax and be there for your loved ones. We will then take care of all the details and make the service meaningful. This is what we have been doing for over 70 years.
